About Philogos

Phi is the greek letter Φ used as numeric value for the golden ratio. It is a value that is most irrational and thus ultimately not to be fixed down. It appears as an especially harmonious proportion pleasing the eye and can be observed in the forms of hundreds of plants, animals and our human body's structure. It seems that the whole of creation is driven by this irrational dynamic, giving proportions within the limitless.

Philos is the greek word for lover and friend. Philosophia means being friends with wisdom (sophia). So, Philogos in this sense, means being friends with the word (logos), the initial thought, idea, impulse and inspiration, the ever-renewing vibration and movement that stays behind and within everything created (nada brahma). From this Word all creation unfolds and manifests. As is said: We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world. — It is our motivation that determines if happiness or trouble follows us.

Logos is our creative potential always new and ready to be used to manifest the world and life we want to live in. Philogos is the love for creating happiness, peace and harmony. Sensing that which is good is the basis for a peaceful heart and a harmonious society.
